HERE ARE THE REASONS WHY I BELIEVE THAT BOTAN/HIEI IS THE PARING FOR BOTH CHARACTERS:</u></i>
Yusuke/Botan: Okay, so this couple is pretty popular and I can sort of see where the writers of this couple are coming from, but honestly it would never work out. In the beginning it might have, but it won't. One reason is Yusuke has Keiko and Keiko has Yusuke. They are THE COUPLE of the entire show. Since episode #1 Yusuke and Keiko had obviously had feelings for each other, and that can't be changed. Secondly, Botan is more like Yusuke's mother if anything. She tells him what not to do and what to do. She treats him like a kid, and she can't help but embarrass him a couple times. It more like a motherly relationship than it is a "attraction".
Hiei/Keiko: ONE, Keiko has Yusuke. He's the only boy she's ever showed and interest to through out the entire show. Yusuke would never hurt her purposefully so that relationship is SACRED GROUND. I've never seen Keiko do anything that would actually help the whole team out. All she does is cry and morn over Yusuke, while taking care of Yusuke's alter persona, Puu. She's just there, I guess, for moral support. Think about it. Yukina has ice powers and can heal people, Shizuru has better spiritual awareness than Kuwabara, and Botan gives the team their assignments and Yusuke his spy equipment; also she is highly advanced in white magic (Remember when she prevented Keiko from becoming a demon and opening her third eye). If you're not familiar with her white magic, read the manga. Keiko is a whiner, and I think Hiei would much rather kill her. She doesn't do much use to the team anyway. He would probably want someone who has at least some use to the team. Botan seems to have more than enough. Plus, I have seen no signs of this couple anywhere.
Hiei/Shizuru: This might work except for the whole bloodline thing. You know, Shizuru is Kuwabara's sister and Hiei is Yukina's brother. If Yukina and Kuwabara have a relationship growing among them (Which is obviously happening), and Hiei and Shizuru began to have a relationship with one another. Hiei would be dating his future stepsister. EWWWWWW!!!! Plus, Hiei is already trying his hardest to keep Kuwabara out of his family as it is. HIEI HATES KUWABARA WITH A PASSION!!!!!!! HE WOULD RATHER DIE THAN BE RELATED TO THE FOOL!!! Other than that I don't think Hiei and Shizuru would have an attraction towards each other.
Hiei/Yukina: WHAT DISGUSTING SICOPATH WOULD PUT THESE TOO TOGETHER!!!!!!!!! THEY'RE OF THE SAME BLOODLINE!!!!!! SHE'S HIS SISTER AND HE'S HER BROTHER!!!!!!!! DUSGUSTING!!!!! EWWWWWWW!!!!! THIS IS THE WORST PAIRING THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN OUT THERE!!!!! Yes, Hiei does care for her, but that's because she is his sister (HIS ONLY LIVING RELATIVE). There is no way in the world that this would ever happen. I think Hiei would think of it as degrading and foolish. SPOILER:</i></u> Later on in Hiei's life Yukina calls him "Brother". Implying that she thinks that her brother would probably act like he does. YUKINA THINKS OF HIM AS A BROTHER AND NOTHING MORE!!!!!!!!!!! EWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!! YOU PEOPLE ARE DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!
Botan/Yukina: Ummmmm…… This would never work. Yukina and Botan have no signs what so ever that they are of the lesbian type. They only think of each other as friends and nothing more. I really don't understand why people would put these two together. There is no sign of them liking each other that way, and there is hardly a conversation between them that leads to relationships. There is nothing here that could prove this to be a real couple.
Koenma/Botan: For one thing, Koenma is Botan's superior. Botan only thinks of him as a superior and respects him. She has even let her mask slip a couple of time and even yelled at him. Koenma seems too immature to deal with a relationship despite the fact that he might be over 500 years old. He is also probably to busy with maintaining the worlds' order to even have time to deal with a relationship. ----------Yes, I know I used this couple in my story, but I really needed a plot line, and this idea came up last minute, and Koenma seems to be the only senseless person to do something like that. Kurama wouldn't, Yusuke wouldn't (he's got Keiko so he'd probably mention that he doesn't feel for her that way), Kuwabara wouldn't (he'd do the same thing as Yusuke), and Hiei well if he refused her, he'd break it to her in his cold uncaring manner.
Hiei/Mukuro: Okay, I've seen this couple around, and I think I understand why a little. Maybe it's because she's got the most similarities out of anyone with Hiei. She's dark, cold and a loner. Sounds a lot like Hiei, doesn't it? There is one problem though (maybe more than that)… She is Hiei's superior (same as the thing with Koenma/Botan). He only respects her. She has defeated him in battle and she even has taken him under her wing. I'm sorry but Hiei seems like the kind of guy who would never like to have a woman that is better at him than everything. He has pride and an ego, and those things won't let him stand an eternity of being humble and embarrassed. That is against his character. Plus, she would remind him of his past and would be too cold to be there to comfort him. She's just like him so he'd obviously have some inner turmoil with his past when around her.
Hiei/OC/Botan: I don't really like Original Character pairings. It seems like the people who write them are only wishing for their own fantasies to come true. I don't know if that's what they are doing or not, but I'm highly against these pairings. THEY WILL NEVER HAPPEN, SO GET OVER IT!!!!!! All of the stories are predictable as well. If Hiei's with an Original Character s/he's always beautiful and acts exactly the same as Hiei (cold, emotionless, loner, and can fight almost as good as Hiei), or they have some thing that is better than Hiei (EXAMPLE: They're faster than Hiei, stronger than Yusuke, smarter than Kurama, are the most beautiful character in the story, and they hold the key to the universe's destruction.) obviously so they can attract Hiei's attention. I'm sorry, but that is not a story, it is a fantasy of a simple mind. I don't mean to be offending to anyone, but that's just the way I see it. The same thing goes with Botan he's always the perfect guy, attractive and gentlemen like who can only keep their eyes on Botan now and forever. PA-LEASE!!!! If anyone finds a good Hiei/OC/Botan fic, please tell me and justify these pairings. I haven't read all of them but the many I have read are more than enough.
Kurama/Botan: I know how eagerly everyone is to read this section. THIS WOULD BE THE MOST BORING COUPLE OF THE CENTURY!!!!!!!! Kurama is a wuss when it comes to women. He is indeed a lady killer, but he seems to lack the ability to have a verbal disagreement with ANYONE!!!!! I have not seen him argue with anyone at all, only state his opinion. Kurama would never be able to handle Botan. She is a trickster, sly, bouncy, comical, outgoing, and a tease. Kurama would never be able to keep his woman under control. Botan would definitely need a man who would put her in her place hard and to the point, and Hiei fits that category quite well. Secondly, If they were ever in a relationship I think that Botan might go insane. There would be no fighting in this relationship WHAT SO EVER! Kurama would do everything she says. A relationship has to have a fight, there is no such thing as a perfect relationship. If there is no fighting in a relationship, then the couple would hold in all their problems with one another. Sooner or later, a member of the couple would never be able to handle all the problems so they would run away and divorce. MY GRANDMA IS AN EXAMPLE!!!! It turns out there are a lot of real cases like this. No fighting = no mutual agreements in the relationship = no growing in the relationship = no real relationship. Oh and as for Youko Kurama. He isn't really there longe enough. He just appears and goes away, so that won't last. Plus, Kurama wouldn't have the heart to release Youko Kurama on Botan.
Hiei/Kurama: Oh how many people love this couple. Yes, I too have seen all the pictures of them together and stuff, but think about it. There are a lot of pictures of Hiei and Yukina together, but their brother and sister. There are a lot of pictures of Yusuke and Kuwabara together, and their rivals. There are a lot of pictures of Kieko and Botan together, and they're not a couple. Kieko has Yusuke. Plus, has anyone ever thought that Hiei and Kurama are the ONLY demons in the Urameshi group (till the third season). I do agree that the do look good together and the thought has crossed my mind about Kurama sexuality, but it wouldn't work out. For one thing, Hiei can only tolerate Kurama, like he does Yusuke. Kurama is the only other demon on the Urameshi Team, so obviously Hiei would hang out with him more. If Hiei hung out with Yusuke or Kuwabara more, the chances are that they would be dead in an instant. Yes, Hiei listens to Kurama, but that is because he respects Kurama. He also listens to Yusuke as well. Kurama just knows what to ask Hiei to do. Yusuke asks Hiei to do something's that would go against his character. Lastly, Yoshihiro Togashi, the creator of Yu Yu Hakusho, doesn't like the couple.</u> I have yet to see this evidence, but the rumor is spreading about the Internet. IF ANYONE HAS PROOF SHOW ME!!!!!! I'm currently working on a search for proof as we speak. I've been working on it for a while.
Hiei/Botan: YAY!!!!!! I really love this pairing!!! They are perfect for each other. I'm sure everyone is familiar with DBZ. Well, this pairing reminds me of Vegeta and Bulma. Think about it. Their appearances are almost the same as well. Opposites attract majorly applies here!!! Think about it! Hiei would be able to be strait with Botan and Botan would be Hiei's source of happiness. She's always bubbly and happy and provides a joyous feeling to the rest of the team. Hiei's always so sad and is deeply affected by his past. Botan would be the perfect person to make him feel all better and comfort him. Also the subject has come up of Hiei dispising Botan and wanting to kill her. This is true, but there three things that make this not a problem. 1) Vegeta hated Bulma (had to bring that up), 2) Botan is under Koenma if Hiei kills Botan he goes to jail and I highly doubt he wants to go there, and 3) You people seem to be forgetting that Botan is the Diety of Death, the Grim Reaper, the Guide of the River Stix. How in the hell can the Grim Reaper die? How can Death die? It's impossible. Hiei can't kill Death. I REALLY MUST SAY THAT I AM TRULY DISSAPOINTED WITH MANY HIEI/BOTAN FANS THAT ARE OUT THERE!!!!!!! I know that there are a lot almost the same amount of Hiei/Botan fans as there are Kurama/Botan fans yet I haven't seen any growth in the amount of fanfictions and drawings on the internet. I'm not saying "YOU NEED TO GO OUT THERE AND START MAKING MORE FICS AND DRAWINGS!!!!!". I'm just saying that I don't understand why that's happening. And lately in a lot of the fics I have read, you all make Hiei seem like an impudent person that needs somebody to cling to. And, please, lighten it up on the love confessions. I can't stand hearing this: "Botan, I'll love you always and forever, and I really need you to be with me," he says with a true smile on his face as if he'd been hiding it all his life. "Oh, Hiei, I love you too. I thought I loved Koenma, but now I realize that you are the one for me. You're the one I love, Hiei!" EEEEEEWWWWWW!!!!!!! Please, if you are going to write a fanfiction with Hiei making a love confession. PLEASE I BEG OF YOU!!!!!!! KEEP THEM IN CHARACTER AS MUCH AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN!!!!!!! One can only take so much butchering of their favorite characters' personalities. Lastly I must say that there are fics out there where Botan or Hiei randomly falls in love with the other in a split second. I will quote one of my commentors: "But develop their infatuation (and the relationship) SLOWLY. Some peps have Botan say 'Omgod! I love him!' right off the bat and I'm likie 'What the f?!'" (Sorry, Midnightdream51) Listen to this commentor, in fact go read their review on chapter 2 in my story, "The Darkness Within," they had a lot of good things to say about a lot of the subjects that bothered me in other fics. NOT ALL OF THE FICS I'VE READ HAVE THESE PROBLEMS!!!!! SOME OF THE FICS WEREN'T LIKE THIS!!!! AND I EXAGERATED A BIT MUCH ON SOME PARTS (the examples)!!!!

He is also probably to busy with maintaining the worlds' order to even have time to deal with a relationship. ----------Yes, I know I used this couple in my story, but I really needed a plot line, and this idea came up last minute, and Koenma seems to be the only senseless person to do something like that. Kurama wouldn't, Yusuke wouldn't (he's got Keiko so he'd probably mention that he doesn't feel for her that way), Kuwabara wouldn't (he'd do the same thing as Yusuke), and Hiei well if he refused her, he'd break it to her in his cold uncaring manner.
Hiei/Mukuro: Okay, I've seen this couple around, and I think I understand why a little. Maybe it's because she's got the most similarities out of anyone with Hiei. She's dark, cold and a loner. Sounds a lot like Hiei, doesn't it? There is one problem though (maybe more than that)… She is Hiei's superior (same as the thing with Koenma/Botan). He only respects her. She has defeated him in battle and she even has taken him under her wing. I'm sorry but Hiei seems like the kind of guy who would never like to have a woman that is better at him than everything. He has pride and an ego, and those things won't let him stand an eternity of being humble and embarrassed. That is against his character. Plus, she would remind him of his past and would be too cold to be there to comfort him. She's just like him so he'd obviously have some inner turmoil with his past when around her.
Hiei/OC/Botan: I don't really like Original Character pairings. It seems like the people who write them are only wishing for their own fantasies to come true. I don't know if that's what they are doing or not, but I'm highly against these pairings. THEY WILL NEVER HAPPEN, SO GET OVER IT!!!!!! All of the stories are predictable as well. If Hiei's with an Original Character s/he's always beautiful and acts exactly the same as Hiei (cold, emotionless, loner, and can fight almost as good as Hiei), or they have some thing that is better than Hiei (EXAMPLE: They're faster than Hiei, stronger than Yusuke, smarter than Kurama, are the most beautiful character in the story, and they hold the key to the universe's destruction.) obviously so they can attract Hiei's attention. I'm sorry, but that is not a story, it is a fantasy of a simple mind. I don't mean to be offending to anyone, but that's just the way I see it. The same thing goes with Botan he's always the perfect guy, attractive and gentlemen like who can only keep their eyes on Botan now and forever. PA-LEASE!!!! If anyone finds a good Hiei/OC/Botan fic, please tell me and justify these pairings. I haven't read all of them but the many I have read are more than enough.
Kurama/Botan: I know how eagerly everyone is to read this section. THIS WOULD BE THE MOST BORING COUPLE OF THE CENTURY!!!!!!!! Kurama is a wuss when it comes to women. He is indeed a lady killer, but he seems to lack the ability to have a verbal disagreement with ANYONE!!!!! I have not seen him argue with anyone at all, only state his opinion. Kurama would never be able to handle Botan. She is a trickster, sly, bouncy, comical, outgoing, and a tease. Kurama would never be able to keep his woman under control. Botan would definitely need a man who would put her in her place hard and to the point, and Hiei fits that category quite well. Secondly, If they were ever in a relationship I think that Botan might go insane. There would be no fighting in this relationship WHAT SO EVER! Kurama would do everything she says. A relationship has to have a fight, there is no such thing as a perfect relationship. If there is no fighting in a relationship, then the couple would hold in all their problems with one another. Sooner or later, a member of the couple would never be able to handle all the problems so they would run away and divorce. MY GRANDMA IS AN EXAMPLE!!!! It turns out there are a lot of real cases like this. No fighting = no mutual agreements in the relationship = no growing in the relationship = no real relationship. Oh and as for Youko Kurama. He isn't really there longe enough. He just appears and goes away, so that won't last. Plus, Kurama wouldn't have the heart to release Youko Kurama on Botan.
Hiei/Kurama: Oh how many people love this couple. Yes, I too have seen all the pictures of them together and stuff, but think about it. There are a lot of pictures of Hiei and Yukina together, but their brother and sister. There are a lot of pictures of Yusuke and Kuwabara together, and their rivals. There are a lot of pictures of Kieko and Botan together, and they're not a couple. Kieko has Yusuke. Plus, has anyone ever thought that Hiei and Kurama are the ONLY demons in the Urameshi group (till the third season). I do agree that the do look good together and the thought has crossed my mind about Kurama sexuality, but it wouldn't work out. For one thing, Hiei can only tolerate Kurama, like he does Yusuke. Kurama is the only other demon on the Urameshi Team, so obviously Hiei would hang out with him more. If Hiei hung out with Yusuke or Kuwabara more, the chances are that they would be dead in an instant. Yes, Hiei listens to Kurama, but that is because he respects Kurama. He also listens to Yusuke as well. Kurama just knows what to ask Hiei to do. Yusuke asks Hiei to do something's that would go against his character. Lastly, Yoshihiro Togashi, the creator of Yu Yu Hakusho, doesn't like the couple.</u> I have yet to see this evidence, but the rumor is spreading about the Internet. IF ANYONE HAS PROOF SHOW ME!!!!!! I'm currently working on a search for proof as we speak. I've been working on it for a while.
Hiei/Botan: YAY!!!!!! I really love this pairing!!! They are perfect for each other. I'm sure everyone is familiar with DBZ. Well, this pairing reminds me of Vegeta and Bulma. Think about it. Their appearances are almost the same as well. Opposites attract majorly applies here!!! Think about it! Hiei would be able to be strait with Botan and Botan would be Hiei's source of happiness. She's always bubbly and happy and provides a joyous feeling to the rest of the team. Hiei's always so sad and is deeply affected by his past. Botan would be the perfect person to make him feel all better and comfort him. Also the subject has come up of Hiei dispising Botan and wanting to kill her. This is true, but there three things that make this not a problem. 1) Vegeta hated Bulma (had to bring that up), 2) Botan is under Koenma if Hiei kills Botan he goes to jail and I highly doubt he wants to go there, and 3) You people seem to be forgetting that Botan is the Diety of Death, the Grim Reaper, the Guide of the River Stix. How in the hell can the Grim Reaper die? How can Death die? It's impossible. Hiei can't kill Death. I REALLY MUST SAY THAT I AM TRULY DISSAPOINTED WITH MANY HIEI/BOTAN FANS THAT ARE OUT THERE!!!!!!! I know that there are a lot almost the same amount of Hiei/Botan fans as there are Kurama/Botan fans yet I haven't seen any growth in the amount of fanfictions and drawings on the internet. I'm not saying "YOU NEED TO GO OUT THERE AND START MAKING MORE FICS AND DRAWINGS!!!!!". I'm just saying that I don't understand why that's happening. And lately in a lot of the fics I have read, you all make Hiei seem like an impudent person that needs somebody to cling to. And, please, lighten it up on the love confessions. I can't stand hearing this: "Botan, I'll love you always and forever, and I really need you to be with me," he says with a true smile on his face as if he'd been hiding it all his life. "Oh, Hiei, I love you too. I thought I loved Koenma, but now I realize that you are the one for me. You're the one I love, Hiei!" EEEEEEWWWWWW!!!!!!! Please, if you are going to write a fanfiction with Hiei making a love confession. PLEASE I BEG OF YOU!!!!!!! KEEP THEM IN CHARACTER AS MUCH AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN!!!!!!! One can only take so much butchering of their favorite characters' personalities. Lastly I must say that there are fics out there where Botan or Hiei randomly falls in love with the other in a split second. I will quote one of my commentors: "But develop their infatuation (and the relationship) SLOWLY. Some peps have Botan say 'Omgod! I love him!' right off the bat and I'm likie 'What the f?!'" (Sorry, Midnightdream51) Listen to this commentor, in fact go read their review on chapter 2 in my story, "The Darkness Within," they had a lot of good things to say about a lot of the subjects that bothered me in other fics. NOT ALL OF THE FICS I'VE READ HAVE THESE PROBLEMS!!!!! SOME OF THE FICS WEREN'T LIKE THIS!!!! AND I EXAGERATED A BIT MUCH ON SOME PARTS (the examples)!!!!
